Great Suggestions - I

As with my other blogs it has been some time since I last posted. Well, with this blog there is a bit of a reason. It just seems that I haven't found much in my inbox lately that was really worth sharing. Just this week, however, I did get one email that had some interesting pictures so I thought I would pass them along.

The title of the email was '10 Great Suggestions for 2009'. It's an illustrated list of some of the things you might want to remember as you make your way through the year and those that follow. Rather than dropping them all on you at once I thought I would spread them out over several posts.

Silver Rings

Here's a nice short video that I think you will enjoy even if you have seen it before. It has been around for a good while with almost 3 million views on YouTube, but then maybe you weren't one of those 3 million. If you happen to visit it on YouTube there are a few others there that you might also enjoy but I think this is the best. If you haven't seen it before I am almost certain you will watch it more than once and want to share it with someone.

I think it is amazing and beautiful. If you would like some further info on the technical side of those air bubbles I can recommend Mystery of the Silver Rings which includes a brief description on the physics of how they are formed.

Some Posts Are Funny, Some Are Beautiful

Not all the posts here will be humorous. I get a few beautiful photo's also. I particularly liked these. These birds are not ultra rare evidently and you can easily find photo's and videos of these beautiful birds on line with a simple search. There is even a blog named Albino Peacock that features photo's and videos of albino and other peacocks. Nevertheless, they are beautiful birds that can always be appreciated.
